Setup

Installing on iPhone and iPad

Use the App Store build, then configure the model and load presets from inside the app.

  1. Open the App Store and install Calc-U 59.
  2. Launch the app and pick the calculator model in the bottom bar. Settings › Startup Calculator chooses the model the app starts with.
  3. Use the preset file picker for .ti59, .ti58, or .ti58c files.

The app needs iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. There is no extra setup after install.

On iPhone in portrait, the calculator fills the screen and the printer and the debugger are pages you swipe to (the debugger only with Settings › Debug Page in Portrait). In landscape, the iPhone shows the calculator next to the printer. On iPad in landscape, the layout mirrors the Mac view.
